HOW TECHNOLOGY WILL HELP TO FACILITATE LEARNING ENGLISH

According to the chronological advance of time and how technology advances every day allowing us many tools at our disposal as teachers, to improve our teaching methodology consequently we managed to be so flexible since we will carry out a class according to the reality of our students achieving sustainable innovative learning.  

Technology in the classroom within educational centers is the present of education is very helpful and necessary. The use of new technology in language learning has become the perfect complement in reaching proficiency and fluency in English language. The Technological supports are the most effective and attractive for students who want to be successful in their learning. The teachers use the technological tools for three reasons: 

It  helps them solve their learning struggles and find methods. 

It helps to get learning that students will apply in their lives. 

It helps to improve the communication among students. 

 

Clements and Sarama (2012) asserted that the use of appropriate technological materials can benefit students, developing them in critical thinking, motivating student participation through oral presentations, and turning them into active researchers.  

The use of new technology in language learning has become the perfect complement in reaching proficiency, fluency and the skills for the English accompanied by technological support are the most effective and attractive for students who want to be successful in their learning. In a study by Kang and Dennis (1995) an investigation was conducted to determine that the compute facilititates the vocabulary development of beginning English language.  

 

In concluding being technologically proficient is a must nowadays. The use of technology to teach English is a way to enhance the learner-centered learning process. Having strong tech-savvy skills can help both, teachers and students become highly productive in the L2. It is of the utmost importance to stay up-to-date with technology, for it can be an advantage when teaching any language. It can also be a great way to upskill the students as well as the teachers and prepare for future challenges.
